Babette DeLaune

I have been training and competing in agility for twenty-six years and began competing in dock diving six years ago. My Labs and Border Collies have earned many titles in both sports. My most accomplished Lab, Minx, earned multiple championships in three agility venues, as well as being only the second Lab to earn the coveted USDAA Platinum Lifetime Achievement Award. My Border Collie, Shazam, won the Master Division of the Southeast Regional Dock Diving competition in 2020. I enjoy competing at national events in both sports, but find even more pleasure in helping agility and dock students reach their individual goals. I’m currently teaching a young boy, Stingley, and looking forward to competing with him in the future!

Ellen Richardson

I have owned and raised Australian Shepherds for over 20 years. My agility journey began with my 2nd Aussie in 2007. The thrill of working together as a team with your dog is second to none and the agility community has become my 2nd family. I have competed and earned titles with 7 different dogs in AKC, USDAA, NADAC and ASCA. I live with my husband, 3 Australian Shepherds (Maggie, Loki and Skye) and an Australian Cattle Dog  (Abe) and am currently training and competing with Abe and Skye. We recently began participating in FastCAT and Abe is currently the 23rd fastest ACD! I have been teaching agility foundation and obstacle skills classes since 2015 and love seeing the ‘lightbulb moment’ when new handlers realize what their dogs are capable of with the right instruction and encouragement.
